G-Gun

We'll use cottam. A lot of what fulmer said on the Fulmer Show talked about if he hadn't been injured he would of been a huge part of the gameplan all season.

I say put Jerod Mayo at fullback on Goal Line and let him be a man (kidding)

G. Jones is a great athlete and I like him at WR, but this whole G-Gun thing is a pipedream. If we're going to throw the ball, why not have Ainge throw it? He's our senior QB who has made a lot of big plays in his time here. Jones is a true freshman WR with almost NO experience/playing time.

I like risk taking, but that is asinine. My idea of risk taking is running a draw on 3rd and 6...not throwing a totally inexperienced guy into a QB situation where he has to make 2 immediate reads and then throw the ball accurately in the SEC Championship game.

Its not asinine, its mathematics. When you run a formation where your quarterback is both a quarterback and a receiver, then you have an extra guy on the field for blocking or receiving purposes. This is sort of how Florida's offense works and -- if you haven't noticed -- it actually appears to work pretty well.

And for those of you who wouldn't dare think of anybody else but our "senior QB" tossing an oblong ball to another man downfield, let me respectfully remind you of the two Lucas Taylor trick plays that we ran against Florida last year and Georgia this year.

Both of those plays -- if my simple memory serves me correctly -- resulted in touchdowns.

Were those plays asinine, smart guy?

Don't forget LSU's entire game plan in the '01 SEC title game was halfback draws and quarterback draws.

I've never seen a defense so confused in my life.:ermm:
