We are scheduled to play Oklahoma on Sept 7 2024 in a non conference game. Do we play that game or plan to? If they don't stay in Big 12 for the 4 more years seems we would mutually agree now to go ahead and find other opponents now. Wonder what we do.

They'll be in the sec before that. It'll get cancelled.

Ok: 2023 Georgia, 2024 Tennessee at Neyland, Also a canx game with TN at Norman. I feel like OK and TN will canx series due to SEC realignment. GA is a wait and see at this point.

uTa: 2022 bama, 2023 at bama TBD on these games.

Once they are part of the Conf schedule the SEC should go back to 10 conf games a year. That might not even be enough to have a rotating schedule where there is a home and home with all conference teams in a 4 year span. Too much time between away games at all venues.

It’s just not fair that some SEC players will never experience Neyland on game day as a player.

Hell NO. Nine per year will beat everyone up and do exactly what the rest of college football want to happen.......create several 4 loss SEC teams that will not be allowed into 12 team college playoffs. And frankly, I'm very suspicious that this re-alignment is at least partially based on this notion of reducing the number of SEC teams allowed in. Because if it were calculated on power rankings, this conference would threaten to get 5 or 6 teams in on occasion.

Everybody can’t play for the Vols.

It’s just not fair.
More could have.

My mom used to tell me "fair comes to town once a year".

The ones that matter will experience it. The rest don't even care so I don't. You think some kid at MSU or A&M that never got to play at Neyland is gonna care? What about a the Tennessee players that never get to Experience "the 12th man?" You think they care?

They'll all be okay.

I’m sure there are guys at A&M that don’t care about the 12th man.

But that doesn’t mean it’s not fair that they don’t get to experience Neyland.

For some the fair doesn’t come to town at all.

How do you know which ones to feel sorry for?

And life ain't always fair to all of us.
