So, Barry Sanders retired from the NFL to go play 7th grade ball ?.......seriously though if we can sign this kid maybe we can get his offensive coordinator too, they looked like a well oiled Boise State machine on offense.

Actually, that's double wing football. It's an awesome offense. We ran it for our Pop Warner kids out in Coronado, CA. I think these kids are in the age group just below ours.

The Toss is the signature play. Short motion into the backfield, toss the ball to the back. QB turns and heads into the hole as a lead blocker. Backside guard and tackle pull as well.

It's hard to stop when it's running well.

Actually, the thing that impressed me the most (besides the insane vision, speed, and moves) was when he reversed fields and came back to the near side, he switched the ball to his outside hand. DAMN, you cant get college kids to do that sometimes

He's certainly a great player now. It'll be interesting to see if he can continue to improve or if he will stall out.
