First post of the Football Season! Heck yeah folks...Football Time in Tennessee. My bride and I want to head up to the game and get tickets on the street or ??? Your help appreciated. Doesn't look like weather is a factor at 24% for 2:30 CT game time. Driving up from Franklin County. Been a while since we were in Knoxville for a football game. Can you get a decent ticket at the box office? Appreciate your comments and Go Vols.

They are still around, I don't believe they are allowed right beside the stadium, but a block or two away. Do not buy student tickets you will not be able to use them w/o a student ID. Also stay with the scalpers until you have fully accepted the tickets. Paper tickets are rare now days, so for the digital tickets you will need to have a ticketmaster account. It maybe easier and safer just to get them on the TM website. Good luck and Go Vols!

Not sure what to make of it, or of where to put this .... but there is a safety notice on campus, having something to do with multiple sexual assaults and drugging incidents that occurred over the weekend in fraternities.

Move if necessary. I didn't want to start a new thread for it.

We're driving up from FC as well. Instead of driving through Chattanooga, have you ever gone through Manchester, McMinnville, Sparta, and Crossville? Beautiful drive, and a lot less road traffic. When we get on I40 at Crab Orchid, we're less than 50 miles to the Campbell Station Road Exit (Farragut).

I saw that the other day as well but didn't see any detail, just that there was a safety notice. Very sad. Immediately reminded of that Vandy one years ago that involved some football players...
