other than that it is a tie game. That is what is pissing me off. I can take it when a team beats us with good offense and good defense but when we hand them the game with stupid mistakes it just sucks. Cal is good no doubt and deserves all the credit in the world. But the game was closer than the score. Well at least its wasn't a conference game I guess.

I think everybody is still wondering why we punted to Jackson and also why has our Sts been horrible for so long.

fulmer said last night Colquitt wasn't supposed to kick to him, that he was supposed to kick it out of bounds, just didn't do it a good job of it. put that one on colquitt.

Lincoln is a good place-kicker but we desperately need Colquitt handling kickoffs... Lincoln could barely get it to the 10-yd line. Their field position was incredible all night because of him.

Horrible coverage on that punt. Only 3 or 4 Vols came into the picture. Where did the other 8 go? They didn't even sniff the ball carrier.

There were only two guys that had a chance at tackling Jackson. Everybody else was getting blocked.

I dont put the punt return on Colquitt at all. Thats Fulmer covering his own ass for putting two half ass gunners in to tackle him. Who in their right mind is gonna send a True Freshman WIDE RECEIVER ass a gunner to tackle DJ. And on the other side? jakouri williams who cant tackle himself. Fulmer screwed up on that and is backpedalling out of it putting it on colquitt. The anouncers themselves said they asked colquit and he said they were gonna punt to him.

Its time for a change.

Cal had 471 yards of offense. Maybe we should worry about our defense and special teams.

Don't forget the Cal fumble at their goal line. It would have been a 3 TD game.....we got beat pretty solid. The fumble was on a crazy hit and the punt return was sick. Yes, we missed assignments on both plays...but that is going to happen sometimes...and Cal was good enough to take advantage of it.

Holy cow we have some work to do.

It would have been fine had the first tackle not been missed. Way to throw him under the bus. Fulmer.
