im not gonna read that article but i pretty much agree with your assessment.

It's like he thinks we're idiots and have no idea what his last 6 years here were like. He states at one point that during his tenure, if he mentioned 9 wins it would be like a terror act, but now we are praying for 6 and a bowl. I remember a few seasons under him we prayed for 6, and we started in the top 10.

So you're saying it's better to be where we're at right now than in the Top 10 with Fulmer?

It will end up the same. We're doing about the same with half the roster size he had, and all freshmen. Can't wait to see us with a full roster and some upperclassmen.

he is an ego maniac that truly believes his own press clippings. His wife's big mouth and those daughters on the sidelines are enough to send any man to the chow line. Take your six million and keep your big mouth shut!

I bet he worked like heck on that interview.... I agree with a previous post, I will always respect his love for Tennessee and what he did in the 90's and early 00's. But dude......

Phil Fulmer calls rebuilding of Tennessee football a 'long-term problem' - Campus Rivalry: College Football & Basketball News, Recruiting, Game Picks, and More - USATODAY.com

Phil really pisses me off. He has as much to do with the problem than anyone else, and this "holier-than-thou" attitude can go to hell. I'll always respect Coach for what he did here, but as they say, C'mon Man!

I could put some stuff on Phil last year, but this year Phil has ZERO to do with Dooley's coaching limitations.

I respect your opinion, but I have to think that ultimately the position we are in now is due to laziness well before Dooley (or Kiffin, for that matter) ever thought about donning Orange and White.

There is what gets me mad. He should decline comment on the Vols or hell tell the truth, that it was his blindness and inability to right a ship that HE led astray is the true reason HE was FIRED.

Hoping for 6 wins huh Phil, i guess your still hoping some school desperate enough will hire your fat sorry a@@. Derek Dooley is 10x the coach Ole Phil has been the last 10 years. Hitch your britches up on that.
Ok rant off.

Dooley could be the dumbest man in football, but has the coordinators and assistants to at least be mediocre if given some halfway decent talent.

BS. That senior leadership that we are in desperate need of is entirely on that worthless piece of trash. I swear I hate his freakin guts! :realmad:
