Do you think CPF already has something else lined up? He has yet to say anything about not coaching. I think he may have something lined up.

Phil doesn't make snap decisions usually, so I don't think he jumps on a job right away IMO.

My gut tells me he takes at least a year off to see if he has the desire to coach because he thinks he's still got it or because he's pissed at UT. My money says he stays away from the SEC if he gets back into coaching. More likely he goes to a small school that would be thrilled to have 8 wins a year.

Remember the time honored tradition of giving a coach
The Athletic Directors job.

If hambone's hire of Kiffin doesn't work out
It could happen

That was my thinking as well.
I don't no that much about hamilton, other than what I see on the boards it's about 60/40 approval wise.

I wouldn't care if XCPF got it tomorrow at the news conference......:)

It would surprise me if he's not coaching next year. He feels the need to show Hamilton that he's still got it. I'd guess that Chavis goes along with him.

I can see him at Maryville High School after they go 75-0 over the past 5 seasons.
Someones got to get them back down to mediocrity.

He said he owed it to his family to spend time with them so I have to agree that he will take some time off! I wouldn't want to ever play against him because it would be too weird! I think he should go to a mid-major or small university somewhere here in Tennessee where he can recruit and enjoy football!
