Has anyone heard this rumor? I have heard that the AD at UCF has already contacted his agent.. Most likely one of those he said/ she said things, just wondering if I was the only one that heard it..

I was under the impression that O'Leary was doing a pretty good job down there.

I heard something about a possible Offensive coordinator job at South Florida, but I didn't take it very seriously.

CPF in Florida? Only if the hiring comes with a home defense package that would rival a foriegn embassy.

I live 2 miles from the stadium. Most of this area is very decent. We'll see this unfolds. Haven't heard O'Leary was in trouble. They are though having another rocky season so CPF might fit right in.

He pretty much said in that press conference yesterday that he DOES want to look at other coaching opportunities. I'd imagine that someone will offer him a decent gig. He may end his career in the athletic dept at UT, but I really could see him going somewhere else to coach first. I don't know if UCF will be the place he goes, but I could really see something like that coming up.

I was trying to say he doesn't have many friends in Florida because of the Gator faithful. I used to vacation in Florida every other year and always found it a pleasant trip.

O'leary is under some pressure after one of his players died after/during a preseason pratice. Alot of people are blameing him for pushing the player too hard. I don't know the exact story. I still don't see CPF going to Central Florida. Maybe a D2 contender or something with no pressure.

O'Leary is in trouble. That RS freshman that passed away last summer is going to be put all on O'Leary

I don't think he coaches again. Hopefully he stays at UT and gets Hamiltons job.

That would be great I only live a few miles from UCF and could watch Phil do his thing...

WHEN CPF lands somewhere else, how far away from Dave Clawson do you think it will be?

The rumor I had heard was that O'Leary had some health issues going on, but I had forgot about the player that passed on.. that would make more sense if the rumor is true... He stated in the presser that he was a football coach when he was asked about an admin job yesterday..I think that is when he said it, I remember he said it at some point ..

Wyoming guy has called Basilio's show a number of times and said that if Fulmer is available, they'd like him up there. This guy said he called the AD at Wyoming and spoke to his secretary. Probably a wild idea, but I could see him making an obscure move, into a less stressful atmosphere.

Yeah, he's run the football program into the ground so let's give him free reign to do the same for basketball, tennis, golf, volleyball, et al.
