This was in response to an email my wife sent-

"Please accept my apology for this mass email. I thank you so much for your personal message. There were so many I could not possibly answer each one as I would have liked to do and still do my job for the next few weeks.

First, I want to thank you for your message of well wishes, wonderful thoughts and prayers of support and encouragement. Vicky and I and our entire family appreciate our great friends and fans who have supported, encouraged and celebrated with us during our time at Tennessee. I am resolved to move forward and be thankful for the wonderful memories we all have shared at Tennessee, and to always remember that our faith, family, friends and health are what is most important in our lives.

As we close a chapter in our lives, and in Tennessee Football history, I am confident that other doors will open and a new and exciting chapter will begin.

Thank you very much for your friendship and support. May God Bless You and Yours!

GO VOLS

Sincerely,

Phillip Fulmer "

Sounds like he's job hunting to me... Comments?

People can say what they want, but I don't think there's a person here who could've handled being thrown out of a job they loved in a place where they've spent their entire life any better than he did it. I feel for him and his family, and wish them all the best. And I'm excited about a new direction for the Vols.

For a $6 Million buyout I could handle it just fine thank you.

Phil is just fine, I don't feel sorry for him in the least and he will do just fine.

I wonder if this made him mad?

Look I am entitled to my own opinion...and yes I am sad that he is leaving but I know it was time.

There are others who share your feelings, and I'm one as well. I don't think we're in the minority either. We're just in the minority as for debating over it.

Really? Well, when you accomplish what he did and then it's over, you let me know. K?
