Does not seem to mind losing at all. Philosophical approach......phoning it in........

"Able to squeeze 9 wins out of it"
"A lot to build on"
"Gotta get a whole heck of a lot better"
"Gonna be hard to replace those guys we have lost"
"Had some guys that did not pan out"
"Had some injuries"
"Had some guys left early for pro football"
"Gonna try to get the I's dotted and the T's crossed in the off season"

About going to the NFL: "If you are going to be in the top 10 or 15 you should look hard at going."

Kesling: What does the team and the coaches do over the next couple months?
"Go back to school"
"Several will have surgery"
"Spring practice about Feb. 20--a lot to look forward to that point"

"Just looking forward to the coming year. Wish everyone a happy happy new year. We have been very blessed here and very grateful for the year we did have.

"Close to being a really great year. Goal is to close that distance win those close games and get into the national championship hunt."

"Our hope is that our staff stays intact."

"You enjoy playing against people like Penn State."

"Honored to play against them. I sure would have liked to have beat his butt."

Kesling genuflects before the Fulmer and it ends.

Precisely. Our head coach is perfectly content with mediocrity.

I believe that he isn't content at all with mediocrity. The game has taken a huge toll on his health because of stress. No one takes the losses harder than him.

To imply that Fulmer doesn't want to win is just ridiculous.

Fulmer is not content with mediocrity. The fans that support Fulmer staying on as HC are content with mediocrity.

I don't think that's really true either. There are plenty of people who think the program isn't where it needs to be . . . but still think CPF is the guy.

Anyone that wants CPF as HC, either is ok with mediocrity or is fooling themselves on their analysis of PF. I was a Fulmerite prior to this season, but have changed direction. These performances are pitiful. 10 points, a months preparation to score 10 points. That team was practically boring to watch today.

10 points is a poor performance . . . It's also very similar to what teams like Wisconsin and Michigan scored on Penn State.

I agree, the game was dull, but I am not fooling myself in my evaluation of Coach Fulmer. I see that there is no one better to coach this football team at this current time, and more time must be given to see how the Cutcliffe hire will work. I believe this offseason, Ainge will improve even more, and Trooper will be able to make the receivers even better (Meachem or not).

This team has no where to go but up, and Coach Fulmer has it pointed in the right direction for an SEC East title next year.

No doubt about it . . . The Foster fumble was about as big a momentum changer as you'll ever see on a football field.

It was defintely bad, but there were over 10 minutes left in the game. The offense followed PSU's defensive score with a 3 and out.

:post-4-1090547912: This smiley should be on steroids for proper understanding to that response.
