Fulmer writes response to Adams Article

I am pretty surprised that he wrote this letter to tell the truth. It sounds like he may be a little upset with Mr. Adams.

Adams is a hack. No one agreed with how Fulmer handled Colquitt, but it's the middle of the off-season, right before spring practice. It was ill-timed. It piled on by mentioning former players and their off the field incidents during their time in the NFL. It was nothing more than something to stir up trouble.

Adams. Is. A. Hack.

People think that I believe I know it all.

I don't, and this article is one piece of that evidence. I have no idea what to think.

the last three paragraphs of Fulmer's response are the most telling. I am not a Fulmerite as far as coaching goes, but there is no doubt the man has my respect for his character and what he wants to accomplish.

I rarely follow the afterlife of UT football players. Does anyone know who the KPD Sergeant is?

I'd say Adams is getting just the response he was looking for.

This is all I had to say about John Adams' story.

One thing about that article is using former Vol's actions in the NFL as proof of CPF's inability to discipline people.

What about Rich Rodriguez at WVU? Pac-Man and Chris Henry have really made WVU seem like a great school.

Hell, Lawrence Phillips. Does he make Osborne look bad because Osborne recruited him?

Had he left out what players do once they move on to the NFL, his article wouldn't be nearly as bad. But that BS about what players do in the NFL after leaving Tennessee is nonsense. Grown men making millions have to be accountable somewhere down the road.

It's a sorry ass excuse for a story. John Adams is an awful journalist.
