in the past 10 seasons we've won the SEC east 4 times... a good ratio, considering we play against uga and fla in our division.

Now, we won it in 98, 01,04, and potentially this year.

if so that means we win the east every 3 years basically...

If we got over the hump and upset LSU this year what would your thoughts be about that track record? would you consider it acceptable?

I think the thing that hurts the worst is losing the 01 game... and not playing in the NC :cray:

i do not like to defend fulmer, but that's not typically been a problem for him.

Someone posted on another thread that a SEC title would ALMOST make up for the blowout losses.

That statement just completely blows my mind.

Having a username of ieatcatfood is very interesting to say the least. However, it's getting tiresome settling for an SECE designation since that means exactly squat. Point still remains that the word champion hasn't appeared on Tennessee's resume since '98. Win the SEC and a lot of folks will be happier.

I agree with that but I think he needs to go a step further and win the bowl game.
