“There’s four principles we’re working on right now, four pillars,” Fulmer said at the luncheon. “One is communication. I tell my people, ‘I do not want to be surprised.’ We stay in tune to what the message is.

Stability and inertia are two very different things, though they can fool you and look alike some of the time. Hint: one is much fatter than the other.

-- Communication
-- Trust
-- Warmth
-- Intensity

Not bad as pillars for an organization reestablishing an even footing before rediscovering excellence.

Trust and Warmth are both inward-looking. Heal wounds, reestablish bonds.

Communication is the network that connects all the pieces inside and all the interests outside. It's the bridge from rebuilding, to growth.

Intensity is about championships, and is fully focused outward, to the mountaintops.

I like it. I like it all. Good leadership at work.

Are you really slurping this syrup? What does any of that even mean? Warmth? Intensity?

Are you kidding me?

Not kidding. Makes a lot of sense.

But I'll give you something to slurp, if you want to get crude. I'm not above diving into the muck with you.

Did you read the article? Fulmer explains each pillar.

Yeah, I read it. Very general statements. Nothing necessarily new or groundbreaking. Actually, he said things that most would come to expect from any organization.

What would you like to have heard to make you warm and fuzzy? Too many look for him to help, then turn around and mock the guy. I know I'm beating a dead horse, but we won't find anyone that cares more about UT than Phil. Unless we want to be Cleveland South, we need to unite behind this man

Funny to me how you guys willfully blast Fulmer. Seems to me like he knows a thing or two on how to win in the SEC though. We all know that every coaching change requires a culture change. I think the main diff in Pruitt and what we previously got since Fulmer is that Pruitt is a winner. He is not used to the half*ssed efforts that we have had from the players the past 10 years.

You guys need to take it over to the Hustler forums.
