COACH FULMER has been a staple for the University of Tennessee. He has dedicated his life to the betterment of His Alma Mater. In todays instant gratification society it is easy to jump ship or point blame. I think Fulmer has earned the right to right the ship and bring life and energy back into our once proud program. It is time we focus the same venom we have been injecting into bad mouthing our program and start using to provide support and reasurance that; WE, the Vol Nation, support our program and that we will not turn our backs during this dismal season, yet we will rise, and cheer, and support our coaches, players and staff until the very end!

Damn, my kids were right...this orange kool-aid is good!

How many chances do you give him? Let's just say, for example, your kid wrecks your car. You give him another chance, he wrecks it again. You give him, I don't know, three more chances, and he wrecks it three more times. At what point do you say, okay, maybe he just can't handle this whole driving thing?

He's had a chance to "right the ship" since the 2002 fiasco.

This will be the 3rd (or 4th, if you count last year) unacceptable season since the Great ATL Chokejob of 2001.

He's had his chances.

Fulmer likes to point blame.. see randy sanders in 05. It wouldnt surprise me one bit if it came down do it he tried to blame clawson.

I need to get some of that kool-aid myself. Maybe I will enjoy these games more then.

Instant?

It's been 10 years since he won the SEC. How can you get more patient?

That is not true. Numerous times he has taken blame and went so far as to send out a letter. As far as Sanders goes, most fans were ready for him to go and thought he wated to long to make the move.

Now I agree Fulmer has had his chance but let's keep it factual.

I admit it hasn't been gravy, but everybody else has had 10 years to catch us. Look none of this discussion would be taking place had we beat UCLA, maybe Auburn. There were not any lofty expectations for this year. New OC and New QB...there was an unknown.

To start the year we had a good idea we would lose to Florida, Georgia, and prob. Alabama. They were expected to be as good or better than last year. So expectations were 9-3 at best. We can still finish a realistic 7-5. Now if we lose to Vandy, MS State, South Carolina then yea, can his but...right now is a little eary.

Man, this is the best kool-aid...I hope I don't run out.

Yes, he has taken some blame, but he has pointed elsewhere many more times than he has taken it.

If there is any way possible he can make Clawson his scapegoat this year, he will do it.

I agree, esp. since Tuberville paved the way for it to be the thing to do. Clausen has looked pretty confused. I do think that the SEC DC's have really challenged his ability. Cromptons ineptness hasen't helped either.

They caught up in 1999 and have since passed us.
