Sorry, but NO he will not. I hate it for the the team, and I hate Bama with all my heart, but Fulmer will not get it done. If anything the players will step up and make something happen themselves. I want to win but Fulmer will get no credit for it from me if we do win.

I like it!!!
It would be AWESOME if Phil sticks it to Bama 1 more time before leaving.
That would make them love him more.

I am actually really pumped up about the game Sat night....maybe it is a last shot for Fulmer. Prime time, UT vs BAMA....cannot beat that!

We'll see.

I hope we win, and we have had at least 1 signature win every year since 1989, with 2002 being the only possible exception. I know Phil wants this game unlike almost any other... but wanting it and being able to do it are completely different things.

Saban owns Phil, and I would never ever take Phil in that coaching match up. We might win, but it will take a Herculean effort from our players, because not only will they have to overcome 'bama's considerable talent (probably close to ours at this point), they will have to overcome the huge coaching disadvantage.

I still want to see Fulmer gone after this year.

But...

--his greatest accomplishment, other than the NC, is his record against Bama. I would like to see him do it one more time on the way out.

I sat in the stands as a student from 1976-1980 and Bama is THE team to beat for me.

See I think that ALabama this year lives on getting up on teams early but every game they have almost let their Opponent come back in the second half. So if we can be in this game through the first half then we got a shot at the end. We need everyone to come together from the fans to the players and that place needs to be as loud as it can possibly be on Saturday night. I will be screaming so loud from Nashville you might even hear me....So this week I hope they get focused and bring the pain. Our Defense is going to have to save us this game for sure.. My prayer this week will be that Chavis comes up with the most spectacular play calling of his life.....( THIS IS A BIG PRAYER)
We all know that our Offense is really struggling to adapt to this new look they are working on, so to win we are going to have to show up on the Defensive side and on Special teams.... We need a game changing play to go our way this time instead of going against us. PHIL TRY YOUR BEST NOT TO GET OUT COACHED...AND NOT TO BE SO CONSERVATIVE.......

GO VOLS!!! THIS WEEK NEEDS TO BE GOOD TOPICS AND NOT ANY NEGATIVE ONES!!

He pictures everyone in front of him as gigantic stacks of panckaes and eats his way through the crowd????
Foolmer can't pull this one out of his arse......

I beleive it was 1990 when and undermanned Alabama team came into Knoxville and knocked off an unbelievably talented TN team 9 - 6. To me this year's situation is similar, except, TN is the undermanned team.

Other than blind loyalty, kool-aid and orange tinted glasses, what have you seen in this year's team that would make you say the Vols will beat Bama?

I'm not trying to sell Bama short, because they are an outstanding team, but in their games vs. Tulane, KY, and Ole Miss, they have looked vulnerable. It wouldn't be the greatest upset ever if Tn were to beat them.
