Fulmer deemed the situation "fixable."

It was fixable in spring, there isn't enough time for them to work out those kinks now.

Whew. That's a relief. I was worried about the season for a moment...but, it's fixable, so I feel really good about things now.

I'm waiting for a season were they actually fix the problems BEFORE the season begins.

He also said we "played good". So evidently, very little fixing is required.

Damn, I forgot about ole Phil's birthday. He was probably ticked off he didn't get a birthday cake from us so he decided to give us a present of his own by pulling that trash last night. We should have all pitched in for a giant 'Fire Fulmer' cake.

I find it hard to believe that all wrinkles will be ironed out before the 20th.

Guys, no team in the country has all their problems fixed before the season. You dont know what is wrong with your team until you actually play a game. Everyone around the country has problems, even USC, UGA and Florida. The only difference we have between those teams is that we actually go away from our home field on the other side of the country for our first game and our problems turn into a loss to a program with great tradition, pride and nothing to lose, three things you should never underestimate no matter how many of their players get hurt

Why would Phil lie? It's fixable...everything's going to be fine.

I'm off to talk some smack to Gator fans about how badly we're going to pound them.

Usually we didn't make adjustments until after the Florida game. Now it's going to be after 2-3 losses.

You know what? You're right.

You know how you feel when you were really cold as a kid, and you get back inside and have that first gulp of hot chocolate? You feel all warm and reassured?

That's how I feel right now. So confident. We didn't just lose to a bunch of 2nd and 3rd stringers on Offense last night.

Yeah but we didn't look like we had any of the problems fixed.

As much as some like to jump on Phil and blame the coaches (and some is due), to me it all comes down to Cropmton. If Crompton played even a little consistent, we win going away. The OLine struggled vs a nice dline, but Crompton missed plenty of passes when he didn't have a guy in his face. Yes...the no Safety called hurt...as did the fumble and false starts. I'm not dismissing those, BUT the coaches and coordiantors ran plays that got the WRs open. Unfortunately Crompton couldn't execute. Hopefully it was a fluke.

Well if I am a coach and I see all game long that my qb cant hit the broadside of a barn, I change the gameplan. That is were the coaching staff failed.
