Tennessee's drubbing of the California Golden Bears at raucous Neyland Stadium in Knoxville last Saturday night was nothing short of spectacular. It catapulted a team that had low expectations following last year's UT losing season for the first time since 1988 to the cusp of the Top 10 nationally for this season's edition of the Volunteers.

Give me a break!! The Most important game in Tennessee football History? I don't agree with that. I do agree that UT is alot better off with David Cutcliffe than without him. It seems like he has been part of every big year we have had around here. He is a hell' of a offensive coach and he knows this conference as good as anybody. Coach Chavis seems to be the real deal as well. That is as long as we are not playing option teams i.e. Nebraska, or Air Force. But honestly both impress me more than Coach Fulmer. Don't get me wrong I like Fulmer. He is one of the best around. But you are only as good as the people around you. And it seems this year he has a better supporting cast. Saturdays game is huge this year!! But biggest in UT's history. I don't think So.
