Fulmer backers

No those delicate few will never see the light of day. Anything that happens classified as relevant or logical holds absolutely no meaning to these delightful fans. According to their logic, we will have to have 4 or 5 straight losing seasons in a row (to bring Fulmer's all-time winning percentage down a notch or two) before we have the right to even discuss replacing him...

there's no such thing as graceful after a beating of this nature.

Sure there is:

Fulmer
"I realized I am no longer an advantage to the University of Tennessee. In that regard I will be stepping down as head coach effective Monday Nov 3, 2008. Thank for the great chance of having my dream job and I look forward to cheering the Vols on with the great fans of Tennessee"

I just don't see Fulmer being the kind of guy to bow out gracefully...unless they can figure out a way to make him happy while forcing him to make the announcement

I don't jump on a bandwagon just because it is popular to do so!!!!!!! GO VOLS

I for one was a participant in the start of the "bandwagon." I began discussing the subject at the end of 2004. And by 2005 I was completely convinced that I was right. Besides in this case it's really just a matter of when you open up your eyes and see. There is no longer a debate as to who is right. You my friend are just stubborn and can't admit that you don't care about the success of the program.

Yeah I'm going to go out on a limb on this one (sarcasm for those who can't tell) and say that brilliant decision was all Fulmer's!
I don't think Fulmer realizes that every decision he inserts himself into has the opposite effect relative to his intentions. If he wanted to do what was best for TN he wouldn't make any decisions.
