What if Fulmer was somehow involved in recruiting?? How would that work or not work?? I'm not sure how things like that would go down, so anyone go any insight to help me out.

He should be limited to fundraising. Player contact on a regular basis would only serve to undermine the new staff, even if limited to the trail.

If he did that, I think all the respect he has garnered from the school and all the the statements he made yesterday about loving the school and wanting the best for it would be thrown out the window with him being thrown out the door.

I highly doubt Fulmer would be able to limit himself to that role, without working to divide the lockerroom.

And, rest assured, if the new coach met some adversity, the Fulmerites would be back in full force trying to have him reinstated.

The Fulmer era at UT is over. He can't have his fingerprints on this football team any longer.

While I don't disagree at all with your statement, I will miss Fulmer in the closer role of our recruiting. One of the best in the business.
