Fullback Void Needs Filling

I think it would be a very good thing to have a big powerful 4 & 2, game on the line, fullback

Certain run styles favor the use of I and fullback. I think Foster's is one of them. We also haven't had a fullback like Shawn Bryson in a long time. Bryson wasn't a prototypical fullback though size wise. Also no fullback should ever be as fast as he was. As a team in 1998 his senior season between him, jamal, the travises, and martin we had over 2500 yards rushing in 1 year. I doubt we've done that since.

I agree with the article. I think we get back to more I Formation stuff with a lead blocking FB (Cooper) next year. I don't know if I would put to much stock in Holbert next year after surgery and I think Cooper is much more talented anyways.

No they don't. Meyer even made a comment seemingly boasting about not needing a fullback within the last 2 years.

And how much did they use Latsko this year?

I didn't watch them much this year, not sure.

But I know for a fact he was in every single time blocking for Timmy on his 3 yard dives in 2006.

#42. I can guaran-damn-tee he was in a lot in 2006.
He's also the guy that Meyer said would start at TB in 2006 if Wynn and Moore didn't get their stuff together.

But 2007, I'm not too sure about.

Now troll away TVA

I believe Holbert or Cooper will fill the void next season guys. We also have another Bartholomew coming in next season. Will was a great fullback here. Didn't he lead the way for Stephens to run all over Florida??
