DC - Monte Kiffin
DL - Ed Orgeron
LB - Lance Thompson
DB - Willie Garza

OC - Jim Chaney
QB - David Reaves
RB - Eddie Gran
WR - Frank Wilson
OL - James Gregg

ST - Eddie Gran/Frank Wilson

S&C - Mark Smith

thanks

You are allowed 9 assistants under NCAA rules.

Drayton may stay as running backs coach, while Wilson handles WR and ST.

Well, he told us to be patient. As we reach the recruiting home stretch, this looks like a very impressive staff.

I don't see Drayton on there and I know he is supposively gone but I mean we could put him on ST if we had to. Without Drayton we only have 8 coaches! Any other info? I just want Drayton to keep Marlon Brown

I think it will be Chaney doing the OLine, and Cregg doing the Tight Ends, Chaney will oversee the offense but since Lane will have such a big part of it and OLINE is Chaney's specialty, I am guessing it is

DL- Ed Orgeron
LB- Lance Thompson
DB- Willie Garza

OC- Jim Chaney

OL- Jim Chaney
TE- James Cregg

VolMike...do you think that Feldman just made an error when he referred to Cregg as our o-line coach in his ESPN blog? That is why I was thinking that Chaney would be OC/TE instead of OC/OL....

no idea but that is just what makes sense to me since Chaney coached OL as a coordinator at Purdue, he put tons of lineman in the NFL, makes more sense than Cregg imo.

Yeah...I don't know...I thought that Chaney would be our OL coach until that blog. He did coach TEs in his last year with the Rams, but historically, as you say, he is an OL coach.

OL and TE groups probably work together a good bit. There's little loss either way.

anyhow, I would rather get rid of Drayton...if it means we lose Brown then so be it.
