I know we're in full pads now...are we hitting and tackling or is it still an acclimation period with full contact starting soon?

If we are full contact...what's the intensity like...are we really getting after it or does it seem laid back?

yesterday was first day in full pads and from Dooley's response post practice, it wasn't up to his standards. he ripped them for 15 minutes after practice...

Thanks for the info...was it an "acclimation" type of practice or were they going full speed?

I think they need to consider holding the remaining DT's out of contact drills? (I know it's hard to practice without them, but seriously TN may not beable to field a team if one or two more go down)

At this rate going "full speed" we'll lose half our team in injuries. I do like the intensity though! GBO

Most of the injuries have had nothing to do with contact. Martin was working on a fumble recovery drill and just stepped wrong.

Less hitting in practice = worse performance and more injuries in games.
