Those numbers go a long toward explaining why ND is better than Tennessee. I actually thought the differences would be larger than they are. UT has to become a better passing team and start the match the offensive efficiency of ND and Ct. Offensive efficiency is their strength--that is what they do best.

In particular, UT's frontline players are TERRIBLE passers. Check out these numbers--and then weep.

In addition, Simmons has more turnovers (78) than assists (69). She has been playing well lately but those are unacceptable numbers for a senior with her ball-handling skills.

When you get the ball inside, you need to be aware of defensive pressure, or the lack of it, and make a quick decision to either shoot or pass. You can't dawdle or you will lose the ball. Move the ball.

Inside scoring is becoming an issue, especially when Harrison goes out. Someone else started a thread on Graves. The coaches need to figure our an offensive role for her. Problem is, she doesn't really have an offensive game. She is not big enough to simply turn and score--one needs moves that she does not have. I actually think Jones would be more effective playing inside, and maybe you bring Graves off the bench. Jones has serious TO problems but she can rebound as well as Graves and has more offensive game.

If the brackets play out the way Charlie Creme has them, the LVs may not have to worry about playing Notre Dame since they are on the opposite side of the bracket. I don't believe the committee would put ND and uconn on the same side. So, I added a team to your numbers above that the LVs might face if they move uconn over to allow for a potential ND uconn final.
