Same song, same verse. Just another story on what we already know and love! I just can't wait to see Florida's reaction if we actually beat them this year. If that is possible...

3-4, 4-3, 3-3-5, 4-2-5....It don't matter what defense Berry is in he would thrive, that writer didn't research very well(as far as Monte's D goes) or maybe its just a typo

Seems like every writer, even some very intimate with Tennessee, only want to focus on what Kiffin says and not on what will be on the field.

Sports journalism, which can be a microcosim for all journalism, has turned into soap oprea drama.

Whatever sales newspapers for them is what they will write

I just wish that some of the people that write the negative about how bad we will be next year, or how bad they think we will be would hold off until they see what Kiffin puts on the field

this very thing is why i cant stand to watch the news. All they can talk about is the bad stuff. And magazines are like this too. I coincedently picked up an issue of People magazine and was disapointed that a good article about a poor farmer that won the lottery and is now using it to help his community was in the very back, uniportant. What a bunch of crap. :banghead2:

Negativity sells newspapers, nobody wants to hear about the positive anymore, and its a shame, that's a shining example right there

After Tennessee endured its worst season in more than 30 years in 2008, Kiffin has the arduous task of changing the Volunteer culture as Phil Fulmer's replacement. But the Volunteers aren't expected to make that turn immediately, and they check in at No. 62 in Sporting News' preseason poll.

What caught my eye was that Sporting News has the Vols # 62 in their preseason poll. What? Really? :dunno:

Guy's i think we are going to see a more poised and athletic team this year. I already think by some articles I have read our team is in better athletic shape than they were last season. I also believe that the team is not going to lay down for anyone. They will play hard for 4 quaters. They will execute plays better. I know we will probably lose a few games, but it won't be from a lack of hustle. I believe our coaching staff will not allow this. This is the beginning of a come back for us, and I am stoked and ready for the ride.

I just got the new Sporting News magazine preview and they have memphis university as one of the top 30 high schools in the country. I know thats a real high school but still found it humorous with us calling them memphis High. LOL
