From one Columbia to another...

Yesterday (10/18) the Soccer team played a very good match against S Carolina and tomorrow the Volleyball team will take on #25 Mizzou in you know where. Missouri stands at 11-4 overall and 3-2 in the SEC with some wins against very good teams. This match will be a challenge for our girls and depending on how they decide to play it could be a very good even match. On the other hand, if we get off to a sloppy/careless start, as we do at times, we could easily be swept. I have no idea what to expect but I do believe our team has the talent to play with and defeat them.

Game time is 3:00 pm on the SEC network. Go Lady Vols!!!!

For some parting irony, our next match is in...wait for it...Columbia S. Carolina.

Well, that was pretty painless. We stunk it up the first two sets, rallied to take the third, and stunk it up again in the 4th set. Match Missouri. One observation: I wish we had a player like their #12, DeBerg I thin is her name, cause she can serve like crazy. In addition, she is a dead-eye killer from the backline. Terrific player!

Let's hope for better results in the other Columbia later this week.

I was out of town and just watched the replay!1 Yuck! I heard them mention Ava but not sure in what regards?? Also again dumb looking group starting again so I don't know if Sedona an Madison is in the doghouse or what? Cant be anyone worse than us to sub in a serve specialist to have them wear the net out. Rocky played well what little she got to play. Deberg is a stud if you will. I believe I had rather have her than Edmonds from Ky who is great I think. Eve is confusing to me with this lineup junk. I though she had got away from it after the terrible start of the season but hell, what do I know anyway?
