LOL, I think "Hobbs" was autocorrect. Whatever it was, it's manually corrected now. I agree completely with you. Establishing the running game and hanging onto the ball will go a long way in winning this game. The more the Vols can negate Bama's pass rush, the better their chances, and having success early with Hurd and Kamara is important. I think that sometimes teams are so concerned with Bama's rushing D that they don't give themselves time to establish the running game before coming out of their game plan. The Vols have the skill players to match up, and once Dobbs, Hurd and Kamara get some success, it'll absolutely open some things up down field. On defense, Tennessee has to limit big plays from Bama. Arkansas gave up two 58-yard runs, and several other huge plays. Kiffin will mix it up. I've read a lot of comments here that Bama's freshman QB will be rattled in Neyland. Maybe, but I doubt it. Saban is a master at getting those guys ready, and Hurts has already won two SEC games on the road. It's not the stadium that will shake him up. It's putting him in third and long situations, and then unloading on him. He does have a tendency to hold the ball a second too long before throwing downfield. That opens up an opportunity to get to him. We'll see. This is not going to be easy for the Vols. But Bama can be beat. But unlike what that Razorback fan said, Dobbs has to respect Bama's secondary and make sure they don't get any easy defensive TDs. Those guys are future NFL players who just haven't been playing up to their potential yet. We'll see how it goes![/QUOTE
Great analysis on the game. I couldn't have said it better. Arkansas was SOUNDLY defeated by Bama and any attempt to lessen that is a mistake. Dobbs can make a difference on the edge and I think Hurd and Kamara can get yards up the middle which should neutralize the front seven at least some....but hang on to the doggone ball!!!
