I'm not trying to say that Gruden is coming or Dooley is staying, but the past couple of days has shed the light on what the fans want. If the heads over the UT football program hasn't been able to hear the cries from the fan base they must have had their heads buried in the sand. I am truly happy to be a Vols fan, after seeing all the passion from both sides. The truth is that we all want the program to achieve ... to put everything on the field till the last second. We might not believe in the same path, but we do hope to find our way to the same destination. Victory!!!!! ... GBO!!!!

Not true. I've seen multiple posts of TN fans rooting for us to lose each game from now on. So there would be a chance to get a big fish hire.

Again, not true. Many of the posters on this site could care less about a 'big fish'. They only care about crashing this program similar to the night Kiffin left.

They've almost succeeded...

The problem is, as KiralyVol says, we've got tons of jackasses on here saying that losing isn't a bad thing, wanting us to lose to can the coach, etc.

Anyone who would rather have the team lose so Dooley is gone cannot call themselves a fan.

We have so many so-called "fans" who get their kicks about being negative and hoping to see a coach fail so he is fired. Do you people ever get tired of whining and complaining? I used to get on Vol-nation every day because we "had" fans who actually cheered the Vols no matter how good or dismal the season was. Put some of the same energy into something positive for a change and maybe it could help our fan base and our spirit for the team. :horse:

Fortunately the fans base does not make decisions at the University of Tennessee.

Thank you for your positive outlook. All VOL fans should have your attitude and get behind our team instead of complaining all the time, and how knows what might happen!
