Fridays in Knoxville

I worked it out where i can take vacation and go to the O&W game. My wife hates sports but is going with me. I will be in Knoxville started that Friday. My wife doesn't drinkl or like sports. Where can i take her on Ftiday night on a limited budget to show her a good time? Right after the game on saturday, i am heading down to see my family in Cleveland, so friday night is really the only time i have to show her Knoxvile. Friday day we will be in Nashville. So ideas for that will be great too. Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I figured it would get the most looks here.

Take her to Gatlinburg. Walking the streets is good exercise for both of you. And I am positive that she likes to shop.

Go down to market square... Eat at tomato head (relatively cheap), and walk around down town..

don't listen to dickens. a little side trip to gatlinburg would be a nice trip IMO. especially if you haven't been there before.

I am originally from Cleveland and have been to Gatlinburg many times. I haven't been to Knoxville but once or twice, and I don't think she would like Gatlinburg that much. She is from California, so the scenery is not a strong point for her. I was hoping the city would have something she might enjoy. Thanks for the responses.

Oh come on man. Gatlinburg is touristy, filled with rednecks, and just an ugly place in general.
