I was totally anticipating a bad week after all the eating I did over Easter weekend, so I can hardly believe it. I was moderately disappointed that neither my parents or brothers said 1 word about my weight loss. Only my brother-in-law and 24 year old nephew spoke up.

People are just weird sometimes. Or blind.

Nice work!

I understand the disappointment, but honestly, going from 175 to 155 really is not that noticeable in everyday attire. Two years ago, I went from 225 to 175. That was very noticeable, and I got lots of comments about how much better I looked at Christmas. But the next time I saw everyone over the summer, I went from 175 to 155, and they didn’t notice that I has lost even more weight. I went from a 34 waist to 31 after losing those 20 pounds, but it’s really not that noticeable to others unless you’re really looking for it. The important thing is how you feel about your major accomplishment.

I’m at the biggest I’ve ever been at 286lbs I’ve been out of work and went thru a divorce basically it’s been a crappy year so far and I’ve packed on 20lbs since Christmas over the winter. I need to drop 30 at least

Sorry to hear about the divorce and being out of work. I've been without work so it was easy to gain so much weight. I got up to 285 myself after being over 300 pounds and losing 100 of it. I'm down to 265 with watching how much I eat and trying to exercise as much as possible. It's a slow process, that's for sure. Took me longer than when I lost 100 in the past.

Thanks man it’s tough to keep the weight off especially being out of work. I’ve dropped 8 lbs in a week weighed in at 277 this morning my goal is to get to 240. I’m just really brawny and big shouldered so alot is muscle but I def have a beer belly that I need to lose and the good ole love handles around my hips.
