Friday morning practice

Just left. Defense is dominating. Crompton fumbled the first snap from center in 11 on 11's on the 100 yard field. He's been sacked 3-4 times and he threw a pick that Rogan took to the house. Stephens looks equally unimpressive. Oku looks quick and elusive again today and Bryce looks smooth. Hancock and Warren look very good. walker is stepping it up on the line and Big Dan almost had a INT on a screen pass from Crompton. Berry popped Bryce so yard he went completely backwards and landed on his butt, helmet and shoulders pads only mind you. Overall, the first session has been mostly controlled by the D.

Here we go again, consistency on offense, or lack thereof. Drive 80 yards to fumble in the red zone.... or 3 and out.

D is dominant. Seems like stephens has pretty good awareness, just avoided a big sack

I'm not going to read anything into these practices. These coaches can set things up to where it's going to be almost impossible for the offense to do things and the defense to be stout. They can work it the other way around too. It's more about these guys overcoming adversity than anything really.

His pases are questionable though. Just put one at the receivers feet from 5 yards

I agree. Kiffin could be working new formations or whatever. But they absolutely and without hesitation pulled JC after the first play for fumbling. By the wat they went to a five wide set which I don't think I've seen before, didn't work, but it was cool to see.

Is Kiffin still in the huddle?

That's going to have to stop sometime...hopefully soon

Unbelievable. He did the very same thing in the April scrimmage that was open to the public.

No kidding...

I know he's in his 4th offense in 5 years...but for Christ's sake he's been taking snaps from McNeil for a long time now...

A new scheme has nothing to do with his ability to handle a dang snap

Sounds like another solid day for the defense like yesterday. I wouldn't be shocked if the defense wins in Saturday's scrimmage this time either.

Yea, this drives me crazy. QB/Center exchange is not something that should be a concern. It should be down pat.
