BEAR BRYANT said you can count ONE LOSS for every Freshman that plays. The OLINE showed it and the Defense showed it. No matter how talented; it takes a while to Grasp the Mental part. Not to make excuses; just being real. They looked LOST out there. It Will get better. Deep Breath! Go Vols.

EXCUSE ME! That was a Bear Bryant Quote. Still counts.

Total bust 3 year starting QBs (specifically one named jg) will get you beat. So too will an idiot first time head coach that can’t even speak with proper English that has absolutely no passion or energy for the university that’s giving him 4 million + per year. Just saying. But ya...playing a lot of freshman doesn’t help

Henry TooToo had a crap ton of tackles so it definitely wasn’t him that got us beat. The offensive line blocked well so it wasn’t them. So which freshman got us beat? Warren Burrell? Who had to guard his man forever because the DL couldn’t even freaking get to the QB? Gtfoh. The Freshman didn’t cost us this game the Upperclassmen did.

Neyland could've fielded a whole team of freshmen and beat the brakes off ol' cornbread.

Those option runs were right at Burrell. And he couldn’t get off the blocks. One of many issues on D.

That coaching staff gots like 50 national championship rings. Just ask them they will tell you.

They just got beat by the O line coach from South Carolina.

The real SEC talent on this roster are the younger players. We can't throw them into the fire and risk ruining their confidence so we're stuck playing the more experienced players who just aren't very good. In short, we fans just have to suck it up and accept that we aren't going to win much over the next couple of years. The idea that the upper class players were going to blossom into great sec football players and win 8-9 games was a silly fantasy. Of course those posters who called for us to win 6 games were mocked and considered LOM or crappy fans. Folks just need to sack up and accept where we are as a program right now.

You Obviously missed all the pressure JG had from missed assignments. And the lack of Holes for the Backs to hit. But that's ok; go ahead and spout off if it makes you feel better.

Same song different year. Yes, Tennessee football can make the most optimistic person cynical.

Horrible excuse bro.

How about this team wasn’t motivated nor had a fire up their a** to play better?
