Completely forgot about martinez. Bray'll be better than both of them though. Especially as an NFL prospect. THe other two don't have the frame

Bray not get considered for All American at the QB position this year, but he should get the MVP for UT this season. Put any other QB on our team in the last four games, and we go .500 at best.

What about Murray?

Not sure if we will have any All-Americans. Certainly we will havea handful of Freshman All-SEC first teamers

Eric Gordon, Bray, and Fulton should get honorable mention (Bray could be 3rd team if they have one). Jacques Smith, Hunter, and James will make at least 2nd or 3rd team).

Hunter only had what, 15 or 16 receptions?

I don't know if that's enough to get him on many freshmen AA teams.

It's obvious how talented a player he is but those are stat driven awards.

Juwuan James will probably be on a few AA teams and Bray may be on some honorable mention lists.

I was referring to QB's who are on our team. With that said, Tyler Bray is one of the best QB's in the country. He plays like a JR or a SR. He is a phenom. Murray is good and has played more this year,so I too believe he would be favored over Bray. Not because he is better, but has more reps and more opportunity to put up numbers. Tyler Bray is special. His throws are on the money, and his decisions are quick. Kids just got it.

the following freshman WRs are likely ahead of Justin

Robert Woods - USC: 61 receptions 729 yards

Marquess Wilson - Wash St: 51 receptions 968 yards

Nick Harwell - Miami-OH: 52 receptions 719 yards

Mike Davis - Texas: 47 receptions 478 yards

Kenny Stills - Oklahoma: 50 receptions 630 Yards

I'm sure there are other freshman with more receptions then Justin but the NCAA site only lists those with over 50 receptions. These all american teams are about receptions..

Even though we are just 6-6, having to play all these true freshmen is the best thing that could have happened to this team! When these kids are Jr's, watch out!!!!

I'm sure you are right but just think if Hunter had 50 receptions!
2010 Stats: Hunter, J. WR 15-407/6=27 yards per catch, 1 TD per 2.5 catches, so at 50 receptions that's 1350 yards and 125 TDs! (OK, I know it wouldn't really translate like that but it's fun to think about!):salute:

I know it was just an oversight, but you've got him projected with 125 TD's on just 50 catches! He's good and all, but.....LOL!

hunter did have alot of big plays but i'm with a couple of you, not sure he consistently performed week in and week out to get freshmen AA. gotta think some of our young o linemen get it. really excited about them in the next 2-3 years. starting a sophomore and 3 true freshmen on the line? they going to be beasts by the time they are juniors!
