Look at Bob Shoop..... very good at Vanderbilt.... very good at PSU..... sucked at UT..... very good at MSU..... he didn't forget how to coach while at UT.... he simply couldn't make chicken salad out of chicken poo.... Lindsay may be experiencing the same type situationWell it looks like Freeze was in the top 5 of the SEC his las three years there. So Lindsey has one really good year at Auburn and either this year hit a wall, talent, coaches??? Not sure what to think. Maybe that is why he wants to leave, becuase he is going to get run out of town becuase they couln't even score on our woeful defense.
I will take either Freeze or Lindsey. Either one of them have had experience in the SEC, think Freeze would be a better recruiter and might give the edge to Freeze, but now going to burn any couches if we dont get him. If we DO get him not going to be like..." WE GONNA be grayt thus year boys, lights out!!"
Don't understand your thinking. If true, all it shows is that you can't trust his Auburn results.Seeing as how Malzahn became well known because of his offensive strategies, I tend to see any OC under him as just someone there to do what he says.
Pruitt is not an offense guy. He needs someone who can think for himself.
I don't see Lindsey as that guy.
Well, I don't agree that point per game is stupid. There are limitations to all stats, and, unfortunately for folks that know me, I could talk about this stuff for hours, but here are rankings for points/possession according to cfbanalytics.com :Points per game is a stupid metric; I want to know points per possession. 30ppg on 10 possessions is good. 30ppg on 15 possessions stinks.
