This is not a "this cost us the game" or excuse type thread, but am I the only one that finds it odd that one team has +40 ft's compared to another teams 20(?)? If I was on the other end...I would still find that hard to believe. Makes me think of Donuehay from the NBA....when the Heat and Knicks played. I think it was a 30-8 FT margin? I just find it hard to believe the fouling was that seperated.

We always get hosed at Memorial and Rupp, it's nothing new... just have to play good basketball to overcome the officiating.

:good!: I agree beat sc like they did sat. and get blowed out by vandy, BS. The sec referees suck they always have. when a referee can ruin the game for the spectators like this something should be done. the piece of s--ts. you call enough foul on my opponent and he will quit. thats what happened to ut.:rock:is the sec and ncaa trying to fill vandys arena with a win over ut like this.

SEC officials suck in general, but that's all I am gonna say... I may risk being censored by the High And Mighty Commissioner. All bow to him.

43 Foul shots? are you f'ing kidding me?
:)43, Im very sure its about 48 fouls against tn. I would like to see what the game time was when the fouls came. And vandy beat the crap out of the tn players and no fouls. Thats why Pearl got the tec. I would like a rear glass sticker on my car pi-----s-----ng on a sec ref.:lolabove:

They had more attempts in the first half than we did all game(+-25). There is something really....really....wrong with that. If you're going to call a tight game....call it both ways. That's all I'm saying.

They were being the aggressor, refs tend to reward the aggressive team at times.

Oh, ok. I didnt realize their was a valid argument for officiating in favor of one team over the other. If this was a closer game, and we lost by 6....how would you feel then? IMO there's no valid reason to call a game a certain way because of...aggressivness.

Lol ya Pearl going up for that shot at end of 1st half and gets shoved down and out of bounds then goes down to the other end and gets a tic tac foul called on him. At that point i knew to turn the game off bit did I ..... no ........ I was glutton for punishment.

Game at UK.

FT's-Bammer-10 attempts
FT's-UK -31 attempts

I'm guessing we won't get any love from the officials either.

How come we can never have any 'Homecooking' at TBA? I could overlook some of the God awful officiating on the road if we got some good calling at home, but noooo.

The refs tonight made me yearn for Ted Valentine... and that's saying something.

TV Teddy usually go against the Vols in the 1st half and then when the game is on the line in the 2nd half Teddy is all Vols.

How can a team be so good at Free Throws and we be so bad? Is it coaching or commitment by the players that is lacking? Free throws win games in the tournament.

If Prince, Tatum, Pearl, and Hopson would hit their free throws, they would be some of the most feared players in the conference.

When the team you're playing shoots FORTY THREE free throws it's gonna be a struggle.......you have to suck it up and out effort them. We didn't do that at all and at times it looked like we didn't give a frick.
