History of everyone ever:

Group A exists.
Group B also exists and wants what A has, needs what A has, or just doesnt like A.
Group B starts fighting group A.
Either Group A or B wins. Kills, enslaves, or forces to migrate the losing group.
Wash rinse repeat.
The Eurocentrric nature comes because they were the most successful in the time periods/areas covered.

No one cares about the losers. who did the Axum replace? The Bediun? Who was getting enslaved by their own people to be sold to the evil white man?

Lots of non white history falls into this category. We don't study it. Japan 1860 to 1940 is a great example. Americans school history curriculums only focus on white history.

Sure, it was all about whites. They never taught about the civil war or slavery when I was in school. They never taught about Fredrick Douglas, the Underground Railroad, MLK, or Malcolm X in school. 🤔🤔
