good job vol freak on your sig...
:good:

I've got a lot of learning to do.

Here is one that I thought would be a cool sig (it's not photoshoped or anything).

How in the world do you do those that fast? Any tips for getting the player off the background quickly? I have been using the background eraser tool in photoshop but it takes me a while. Also, I love the "streaks" behind Houson. What is that called?

More great work Vinny. :worship:

I took the picture of the stadium and zoomed in and carefully with the lasso tool cropped the stadium to a new layer so bottom layer is original stadium pic, then Ainge is the next layer, then the cropped stadium I cut out is next stadium and I gave it a glow effect with orange at full transparency, then Houston next with a motion trail with 40% taper at 120 degree and then added a fade to that, then text...

Layers are key...

Thanks Vinny. I guess I wasn't real clear on what I was asking. What is the best way to remove the player from the background (ie getting just Cedric Houston and removing all the other background from the original picture).

I have figured out the layers part....I need to check into that motion part. Pretty cool. :good:

I just zoom in like about 800 % and trace around... I use two monitors also one is 21 inch monitor where I use as just my palette and the other is a 19 inch I use for my tools so I have a pretty large area to work with which makes zooming and cropping pretty easy just tedious...
