I was not saying Lane was mean to all women...I just thought he had an insensitive moment.

When you are a public figure, you don't get do-overs ....

But he didn't say anything about women. He said something about "secretaries." I mean, I'm a man and I worked as a secretary (to a female executive, even) for a few months after school when I was looking for a permanent job. I know a guy now who makes a pretty good living as an administrative assistant.

I just think it's rich that you'd write a whole column about Kiffin's "insensitive moment" when you're the one making assumptions about sex roles.
