well all you guys that want to dump on LITE beer have to realize that all the other light beers that have come along have only had success because of all of LITE beers hard work building such a strong foundation of light beer consumers, without LITE beer no of the others would have even made it out of the brewery!

Was in a bar about 6 months after Lite came out. A buddy was drinking some and I said I didn't realize he liked Miller beer. He said it ain't Miller it's Lite. I said dude are you serious. He said what makes you think it's Miller. I said look on the damn can. It said Miller Brewing Co. in nano print. Dude was astounded.

My German friends said it best when they learned about Lite (they call water) beer. Why ruin good beer, if you are concerned about calories, don't drink beer.

They also feel the same about speed limits and slow cars.
