Man, this feels like Christmas Eve. I probably won't sleep a wink tonight. I'm saving my annual trip to Knoxville for the Florida game this year. 6 hour drive from west TN so can't watch live as often as I'd like. Bringing the wife this year. We're pretty excited. Probably do some wings and other finger foods tomorrow. My 4 year old future Vols cheerleader will be screaming Go Vols for the entirety. It's a thing of beauty watching her love our beloved Vols so much at such a young age. Proud dad here.

I spent the day swearing-in new office holders. Not sure which is more important, their next term or the Vols. Just kidding. It’s the Vols.

Best Brats I've ever had - little brother turned me on to the recipe at 4th of July weekend.
Slice a big, white, onion and layer about half of it in the bottom of a crock pot or your favorite slow cooker.
Place 5 to 10 fresh Brats in on top of that.
Separate and add the remaining onion.
Add 4 or 5 pats of real butter.
Add in around the outside a nice stout or dark lager of your choice (we used Guinness as we were also partaking in Black and Tans that day).
Set the cooker on low for several hours - like 6 or more (bro says you can do high for half the time if you are in a hurry...just got to make sure the Brat gets done).
At the end, if you like, you can transfer the Brats to the hot grill just to sear the outside and also put the onions in a hot skillet if you want a quick caramelization.

We ate ours right out of the crock pot and they were oh so delicious.
I'll definitely be doing these for one of the games this season - maybe Florida if it's later in the day.

I was able to grab an HTMI cable from the hotel front desk and stream onto the rooms big screen TV…

ONLY issue is, it kept me off VolNation during the game (which Freak probably appreciate not having to “Moderate” me as usual)…
take THAT BIG 10, 14, 16 ?? Whatever Country!
