First game of the season for me to be able to go (work). I’ve been many times, but on the phone with my son this evening, telling him what we need to get in for his girlfriend’s daughter. First timers. He and I are so excited to see the look on their faces during Vol walk, Salute to the hill, Vol Village and of course walking into that Stadium for the first time!!!! Since they will be family soon, I’m excited to see through fresh eyes.

Working on things for son's wedding shower tonight. Going to the game tomorrow and praying for a breeze. Last week was awful. So hot.

Seems like we both are working on same things. Good luck. It’s exciting and and stressful at the same time.

It's been ridiculously muggy for September down here too.

After living in the mountain west and the Bay Area for 22 years this heat and humidity thing has been an adjustment for me.

I may have already told you, but my first summer here, I moved here in beautiful December, but by August I was ready to get the flock outta huruah.

Having a hard time getting in the flow. Early game, opponent doesn't seem worthy of the effort for something ambitious like smoking a butt, and too early to start serious drinking.

Briefly considered a baked brie and cranberries with crostini and a sparkling wine, but came to my senses. Will probably go with pizza rolls from the toaster oven. And maybe a Budweiser. Meh.

But never mind all that. Go Vols!

You did, that is funny. I have been told this has been a milder summer. It has been hot, but It hasn’t been as bad as I thought, there has been a lot of rain. I am next to the water so the breeze helps.

Dude, you seriously need someone to cook for you. Pizza rolls will kill you. 😁

Yea, other than a few days here and there its been nice. Its a great summer day when you can't see the humidity.

And you know, I lived in Tennessee until I moved here and it gets just as bad there, for 30-40 days off and on vs 250. Lulz.
