One of my college son's is currently studying information systems,etc.He is beginning to write programs(VB).Is this the field you studied as well at school?Just curious.
My wife is over that department at her job (actually one of several things she is over).

V.B. i had that class, let me say I'm not much of the programmer. I did end up in the IT field, just the functional side. i can't speak all that code.

(I'm impressed).A girl that graduated (masters UT) actually majored in something else (stats) is lead where my wife works.I suppose alot of classes you pick up alot computer knowledge,etc., on top of what you learn on your own and on job.

When I took computer classes in high school and college we did not have GUIs and I had to use a cheat sheet to remember the DOS command codes for tests. Now, I'm on a computer most of the day when at work.
