I recently got (Barricaded) from going on VN by my work IT guys due to my (PMSing boss):realmad:.Sorry women it is not personal.

I have joined car audio .com message board to relieve some of the pain. YOU NEED TO KNOW THAT YOU RUN A SITE THAT IS (TRUELY) way ahead of the curve. The class you demand on this site is not as respected til a guy like me has to find a message board to pass the time. YOU NEED TO KNOW WHAT YOUR STANDARDS ARE HERE BY FAR SURPASS ANYTHING I HAVE SEEN.

Vader the class shown on a MAJOR car audio site is WAY WAY loose man. I have a real healthy respect for the way you run this place.

I am not the person to ask. I would err on the side of caution if I were you. It would suck to lose your job over something like that.

Did you get busted surfing too much or is she just a Gator fan?

Fine, I proxied all the time back in high school and never got caught.

Then again, getting detention and getting fired are two very different levels of suckitude.

The Nation has been blocked for a while on base. But RTE reported it open on his base. Different Major Commands and IT folks.

Now the AF has "Cyber Command" kicking e-terrorist butt!

The same as Milo I and many others I know have proxied thru high school and have never been caught. I dont know how strict they are on you about this type of thing so proxy if you think it will be safe.

yes it is and it's grounds for immediate dismissal at my company (and they have people looking for it where I work). It can be done but just not worth it IMO. Huge difference in doing it in HS and a company.

FV, I can feel your pain. The IT girl at my job disabled cookies on individual computers. I was actually surprised that she was able to do it because she sucked as an IT person. At one point I was so bored at work I had to post in the 'need help' forum to ask Freak if there was a key or sequence of keys that would make the IT person vanish. Delete wasn't working. :)
The problem got taken care of when a coworker that used my desk at night decided to take compressed air to clean the computer - while it was turned on. In case you are ever tempted to do this, please be advised that it is a bad idea. New computer, no disabled cookies and fortunately, the company finally realized how bad their IT person was because they fired her. :dance2:
Hopefully, things will work out for you, as well.
