Another big game tomorrow—for both teams. I’m expecting a shootout. Missouri‘s front seven have been atrocious so far this season, so I’m expecting Small and Evans to have a big day. Hopefully Hooker is healthy. Same for Cooper Mays, but I’ll be surprised if he plays.

Have I mentioned that I hate noon kickoffs?

So what’s everyone’s plan for tomorrow? Who’s making the trip? For those watching on tv, tell us your plans. What’s on the food menu? Watching with family and/or friends?

What other games are you watching this weekend? There are some interesting SEC games on the slate.

Anyone catching a high school game tonight?

Also, just a reminder to enter the pick the score contest and the weekly pick contest before noon tomorrow.

Lastly, and kind of random: Who uses a tablet to access VolNation at least part of the time? And if you do, what brand and generation of tablet do you use?

As always, use this thread to discuss the game or anything else that’s on your mind, sports related or not.

Go Vols!!!

We'll be watching the first hour, running over to my son's baseball game (scheduling Knoxville little league during vols game = major faux pas), and then quickly returning to resume!

I‘ve been there. I’ve even set up a tv in the parking lot so I could watch the Vols between games. Lol.

Watching the game on TV. Nothing special to eat tomorrow, the game is too early to get ribs on the grill. I will watch the game with my father-in-law on his porch and discuss how good/bad we are playing. He has seen a lot of Tennessee football in his 84 years.

I too expect a shootout of a game. I have this good feeling that we are going to come out and play our best game and still squeek out a win like 42-38 or 38-35.

@Freak : I sometimes use an Ipad 8th generation to get on the site using Safari. It has a few quirks, like when I pick on the "Forums" I have to pick Once to "open" the menu then pick "Forums" a second time to get the 'Forums" to actually load. Other than that the site works pretty well. No issues browsing or reading posts.

Well man, it’s Missouri and it’s at noon…we’ve earned it the hard way. We will be watching from home, patio prep begins in an hour. Food is still up in the air and I might have taken some of those “tablets” last night, you know, for my stuffy nose. We need to win this one.

😛

GBO!!!

Round of golf while cautiously peaking at ESPN scores page. That’s all my anxiety can handle anymore.

Look at Freak kicking this off early this week !!!

Getting ready to head out and do some grocery shopping and such this evening.
Got some sausage thawed out from a pig we had butchered last year.
So "game" food tomorrow is going to be Biscuits and Gravy, Eggs, and Fried Taters...dang just realized that other than the spices, flour, and milk everything for that meal was grown right here on our hobby farm. That makes a guy feel good. (BTW - this time next year we'll have our own milk too)

Weather up this way is supposed to be crappy so after our game, interested in seeing if Kiffin has anything for Saban in Ole Miss / Bama.
Fla / KY should be interesting, then perhaps finish off with IU / Penn St just to see if IU can get over that "hump".

Going to see the big Covington/Dyersburg game tonight. Tomorrow get ready for the game tomorrow by grilling out hotdogs/brachs/ hamburgers.

Go Chargers! Hopefully Dyersburg is more competitive than Ty Simpson and Martin Westview (Covington outscored them 101-7 the past 2 years)

Son has soccer tourney this weekend just west of Little Rock, AR. Going to do that and possibly bail @The Original Fade out of jail if he violates the Mullen restraining order again...

Likely will watch communist kickball/UT game tomorrow morning and maybe waterfall hiking afterwards

Tomorrow morning...delivering flowers from a fundraiser for my daughter's high school dance team, hoping I can catch the game at noon on tv...then heading to downtown Knoxville in the evening for the Covenant Health 5K. I'm not a fast runner by any means and depending on how the Vols do, this may be a good stress reliever.

First Friday night back in Miami in 3 months. Will probably have a couple of beers and a couple of bourbons. May open the Van Winkle 12 year I was gifted.

Tomorrow will be the first game I will be able to really watch. I have only caught bits a pieces so far this season.

You’ll probably have to bail your son out for fighting again.
