Freak’s night before the Auburn game, admittedly off topic thread

You know the drill. Who’s going to the game? Who’s watching from home? What’s on the menu? What other games are you looking forward to this weekend? Anyone checking out a high school game tonight?
Going to the game, per the usual. Leaving Nashville at 6 am. My mom is in town from CO and we always pick a game or two to take her to and tailgate. This year, that’s Auburn (although we took her last weekend too, but no tailgate). So we’re meeting cousins and friends for the tailgate in the morning. I pick up the BBQ from Edley’s tonight and Mom is working on the cupcakes with Power Ts on them.
Looking forward to a full day of fun and a Big Orange (and Smokey grey) victory tomorrow. I turned 49 on Monday, so I’m old enough to consider victories over Auburn very special.

Noting special on the menu. One of my friends says a nationally televised high school game tonight between two ranked GA squads on my agenda. Looking forwarc to the Auburn game tomorrow. I see us returning to form on offense as that side of the ball will seem easy compared to what they dealt with last week. Having said that, I'm hoping that's the case. Many forget Texas shut OSU out the second half of their game so they're no joke. GBO!

Thank you very much for picking up my slack. And for you in return since I’m such a cool dude I’m gonna go to Nashville tomorrow night and watch the Preds.

Watching the Hokies handling the Panthers, 'cause local rain kept me from Friday Night Lights.

Looking forward to seeing a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT Tennessee Offense tomorrow against the Plainsmen...Tigers...War Eagles...The Atlanta Junior College for the Graduates that can't get into ANYWHERE Else!!!

Relaxing at home tonight. Been a while since we just had a quiet night at home.

Tomorrow is an all day benefit at the VFW and American Legion for a friend recovering from a liver and kidney transplant. Menu is breaded tenderloins for lunch at the VFW and Chicken and Noodles for dinner at the Legion. I've convinced the barkeeps to have the game on at both locations...although we have to work around the IU game, so might be on the small screen...ahh well.

GO VOLS !!!

What are "Words a Hoosier has NEVER used in the Fall months before..." Alex!
EXACTLY !!!
Weird fact of the week last week when IU played Northwestern...the two lowest ranked teams in the Big Ten in terms of total wins...so the two biggest losers...

Yet every TV around was tuned to the game...my how the world has changed.

Just flew back into Nashville after a week on the road in Utah with my folks/sister visiting all the great national parks out there. My folks are getting up in years and wanted to see those treasured sites. Eating a home cooked meal at Cracker Barrel with them and headed to the game tomorrow to watch us skin them tigers! Go Vols!!!!

Hello Volnation peeps, I am being lazy tomorrow, just making nacho’s for the game. I have no idea what to expect from this game, is the OL pissed and we run for 300 or do they lay down and FB runs for his life?

Made the trip over tonight to our Tiny House in Pigeon Forge. Will find somewhere tomorrow to watch the game (Bluffs, Calhouns and Smokey Mountain Brewery) in my new threads. Give’em heck for 60 minutes tomorrow boys. Looks to be a wet one and to those in attendance, may the poncho gods be with you all!
