I agree this is going to be terrible. But this isn't as dumb as the idea MTV had a few a years ago of doing a hip hop version of The Rocky Horror Picture Show staring Kanye West.

"Rocky Horror Picture Show" is a classic. It ranks up there with the Mona Lisa and should not be changed . . . especially by Fox.

You can't recapture the charm of the original.

If they were doing a live broadcast like NBC has done with Sound of Music and Peter Pan I might understand the reasoning behind such an attempt.
