Foster and Brimfield look impressive

The question was a great one that I've been wondering about ever since seeing Vlad's picture. Why not move him back to the position of need, DT? They seem to have a glut at OG.

The audio I listened to said only 2 open positions; RT, and RG.

Competition between McClendon, Scott, Foster, Jones for those spots.

Vlad was mentioned later, I assume playing behind one of starting 5, at least that's how I interpreted it.

Foster, McClendon, and Richard have been the guys battling for the OG spot opposite Parker. If Scott doesn't hold the RT spot, Foster goes over and Richard/McClendon battle for OG.

Is this the year Fostermom's faith in her boy pays off? I sure hope so, I'd hate to think we spent 4 years on a fullback thinkin he's a tailback.

With all due respect, I've probably been about as tough on Foster as anyone, but I would sure hope the kid's mom has faith in him. If she doesn't, then who would?

Richard was moved to OG because the defensive coaches didn't think he had much future as a DT. He will challenge for a starting guard position and be in the 2 deep at worst. We have a solid top 4 guards in Foster, Parker, McClendon, and Richard. Richard and McClendon are alot better physically but don't have the mental aspect down as well as the other two, yet.

I certainly agree, she should be his biggest fan. I'm just sayin that I'm all for Arian bustin out and having a great season for all of us as well as himself. Whatever the reasons have been in the past that he has'nt is a debate but IMHO I think he would have probably been a huge asset to the team 2 years ago had he been brought in as a FB in front of Coker or whoever.

Vlad's a pretty straight and narrow type of guy because of his upbringing. I would be shocked if he was on anything illegal.
