The kid really screwed up, a hit-an-run and evading arrest are serius crimes. In this one incident Bret Smith ust got himself two felonies OUCH!!!

If he evaded on foot, it's an A misdemeanor. If he evaded in a vehicle, you're looking at a felony. The leaving the scene will probably be a misdemeanor, since it didn't involve personal injury to anyone.

I wasn't trying to be sympathetic, but I just hate how some talented people can make stupid decisions and kill there entire career.

Could've been worse. He could've stuck around the scene of the accident and gotten a DUI :rofl:
