And Sharman could have anchored our bullpen.

Loy wanted a chance to start and we wouldn’t guarantee him a spot for that (IIRC)

No question Loy would be the number one reliever and we’d probably have at least 3 more wins as we’d have avoided the early season late inning collapse. In that case, we’re hosting and possibly even in the top 16.

This aged terribly. Reese proved me wrong. He was really hitting his stride in the last few weeks. I hope he’s OK and we haven’t seen the last of him in Orange.

I am in the same boat as you. I was not a fan of keeping Chapman and openly criticized the staff for bringing him back but boy was I wrong. I am not sure where this team would be without his bat and defensive play.

I hope he has a speedy recovery and we get to see him in the orange again.

I don't know, if he can't start in the ACC, he would fair worse in the SEC.

He left before Frank left. If he had stayed, he would still not have had Frank as a coach.

His best best would have been at a school that "needed" him more than GaTech. He needs innings. Because of how the season played out in Knoxville, he would have gotten more high leverage innings here but I'm not sure he's cut out as a P5 starter.

He really should consider coming back.
