So at 4 pm central time Saturday I will be throwing on dress clothes over my orange attire and will be attending a wedding. Should get to see the first hour of the game. Hoping to God that the ceremony takes only an hour and that should let me watch the last quarter or so, wouldn't you think?

Looking for some moral support here volnation, I almost had to break up with my woman when she told me the news Wednesday. How much actual game time am I going to miss and how much of the tail end of it should I catch? Ill hang up and listen..

Smart phones are amazing. If you don't have one, go buy one tonight.

I went to a wedding last year during the Bama game. I got to see the Poole run and everything after that, well, wasn't really worth checking up on anyway.

Does anyone have any history with the Justin.tv mobile app? I was wondering if this would stream games (whether on CBS, ESPN, etc...)?

How you going to let your girl drop this on you wed?

My advice to you is snip off your nuts. And drink heavily.

In these situations before I have successfully recorded it, and then been able to FastForward thru the commercials to catch up.

I recommend turning OFF your phone, turning OFF her phone. ENJOYING THE BAR (if there is one), then going home and IGNORING the computer, IGNORE the answering machine and sitting down to press "play" on the machine.

Seriously. It will win you points with the little lady and if you are careful about it, you can actually catch up by skipping commericals and halftime to be "real time" about the time that the game is over, OR shortly after.

At least by the time VolNation admins get the site back online after the crash you will be able to log in and chat with us.

It's A GAME, don't screw up a relationship for it. Heck, work her INTO the replay with a bottle of booze and a sofa...

Justi.tv ap is way too glitchy. Probably just be more annoying than anything.

Do you KNOW the bride and groom? If not you may have to get "the flu" on Sat.

At any rate if TN wins your woman owes you big time.

First off, who schedules a wedding during TN-Fla? Very poor taste/bad manners IMO. My parents scooted their Saturday wedding back until after football season back in 1978.

Secondly, What is your relationship to the people in the wedding? If it is not close and your girlfriend will not excuse you from being at a wedding during the TN-Fla game I would humbly suggest that she is not a keeper. JMO.

We might need to have a meeting to discuss taking your man card away from you :ermm:

About 2:30 eat a box of exlax, put tv in bathroom, tell her you can't go because of mudbutt, just do anything to get out of it.

Easy way out...man up and skip the wedding.

I would if she wasn't a keeper, you can best believe it. Hell its too bad she is because I would say "adios" in a heartbeat. Plus its her aunt getting married so I've negotiated just the ceremony no reception. Plus there isn't an open bar afterward so its automatically pointless.

Use the three week notice rule.....Must have three weeks notice during football season and she violated it.....

Better yet find a woman that loves Tennessee football there are plenty that do. Took me 4 times to realize that and number 5 is great when she holds her liquor. Uses sex to bang out the frustration.....and pre-game jitters.....You can image what this week has been like.

My advice is for you to not marry this woman if she is not a diehard fan....It is quite obvious that you are and the two of you will never be happy and she will not understand your passion for All - Vol sports.

One EX threaten to leave if I did not give up my season tickets....My answer was you cannot change me nor will you do so, when it comes to the Vols and if you don't like it and still want control then watch me Go and look at my a**.

You would be better off with a Wife that was as passionate about FL as you are the Vols....The bets get better every year especially during streaks.......More risks on the table and you can have sex in some unusual places.....Ask my third EX who was a GA Dawg.....Laughed for years during the 8-0 streak of which she only lasted 6 years of it.....but it was great....

I sure hope she is one hell of a woman. I missed the UT Vs Georgia game once for my NOW EX. Won't ever happen again.

THere is a "watch espn" app which is basically a mobile espn3.com but you have to have a log-in and I think you have to be on wi-fi.

I've used the justintv app but those games usually get shut down pretty quick

This is no problem. Just tell the bride and groom that Tennessee is playing and you can't come but promise each one that you will attend there next wedding no matter who they marry next.

It's that bad? It's $4.99, but I don't want to waste $5 if it is garbage. I do however need to have a backup plan just in case I'm ever away from the TV for games, is there any app out there worth a s*** that streams live tv?
