I read this interesting article (or post/blog/analysis whatever) of the defense that USC ran in 2006. At the top, it notes how Pete Carroll is a disciple of Monte Kiffin. It also shows a bunch of different looks that the defense can give.

It is a very interesting read, and I highly recommend it. I am not saying that our defense will be exactly like this (I highly doubt it), but it might give you some insight on something similar to what we will run here.
